杨国强，55岁的他，从1980年开始在建筑行业做起，一路从赤脚包工头成长为亿万富翁。他的第一桶金来自于建筑承包，这份辛勤的汗水和智慧，是他事业成功的基石。

杨国强曾经是一名普通农民，他没有接受过高等教育，但却有着极强的学习欲望。他说：“我一辈子都在读书，每天闲下来都会读书，名人传记、天文、地理、哲学都读。”

他的故事就像一部电影一样精彩纷呈。在改革开放前，由于家贫，杨国强直到十七、八岁没穿过鞋子，没吃过糖果。念书时，为省7分钱饭钱，他中午放学要走一个小时回家吃。尽管如此，他高中时由于交不起7块钱学费，还退学一年。但学校免了学费，并给了他2块钱助学金，让他再次复校。这2块钱对他来说是“一生最重要的”。

哥哥杨国华成为改变他命运的人。当时，他是顺德县第二建筑公司负责人，在他的帮助下，杨国强进了北滘公社房管所当施工员，最终成为了一名建筑队队长。

1986年，杨国强担任了北滘建筑工程公司总经理。在这段时间里，他迅速赚取了人生的第一桶金。当年的每天假都未放过，而是全身心投入工作和学习。

1993年，杨国强等人出资3,395万元收购北滘建筑工程公司，这标志着他正式进入化运作阶段。随后，不断扩张和发展，最终建立起自己的企业帝国。

Yang Guoqing: From Red-Packet Construction Manager to Billionaire, Laughing at Life!

Yang Guoqing, 55 years old, began his career in the construction industry in 1980 and grew from a red-packet construction manager to a billionaire. His first pot of gold came from construction contracting - the sweat and wisdom he put into it laid the foundation for his success.

Yang Guoqing once was an ordinary farmer without higher education but with an insatiable desire for learning. He said: "I read all my life every day after finishing work - biographies of famous people, astronomy, geography, philosophy."

His story is like a movie full of excitement. Before reform and opening up due to poverty Yang Guoqing didn't wear shoes until he was 17 or 18 years old; he never tasted sugar candy. When studying high school students had only enough money for lunch by walking home one hour after school. Despite this difficulty he dropped out of high school once because there were not enough tuition fees for seven yuan but later returned to school with two yuan scholarship.

His brother Yang Guanghua changed his fate when working as director of second building company in Shunde county under whose help Yang Guoqing entered housing management office in Beijiang commune as a constructor engineer eventually becoming team leader.

In 1986 Yang Guoqing became general manager of Beijiang Building Engineering Company during which period he quickly earned his first pot of gold each day without taking leave fully devoting himself to work and study.

In 1993 Yang Guoqing et al invested three million five hundred ninety-five thousand yuan purchasing Beijiang Building Engineering Company marking the beginning of operation & management phase subsequently expanding continuously developing ultimately establishing own enterprise empire.
