倒水的学问一个物品的小小励志故事

大学毕业后好几个月，我一直都在人才市场不停地奔波着，希望能够找到一个适合自己的职位。那天，我看到国内一家着名的民营企业招聘一位秘书，因为待遇非常优厚，吸引了许多像我一样刚毕业的大学生。很幸运，我在几百名应聘的大学生中成为被公司通知面试的二十个人之一。

虽然已被通知面试，但我很清楚将去公司面试的这二十个人，谁都比我更为优秀，而招聘的秘书职位只有一个。我会笑到最后吗？心里可真是一点把握也没有。

到公司面试的那天上午，我早早就来到了公司总经理办公室外等待面试。我以为自己来得早，可别人比我来得更早，大家都希望得到这个令人羡慕的职位，但也都像我一样表情掩饰不住内心的忐忑不安。

轮到我进去面试的时候，看见总经理威严而沉稳地坐在对面，我反倒冷静了许多，对总经理提出的几个面试问题，我也是对答如流。渐渐地，我欣喜地注意到，严肃的总经理脸上露出了满意的笑容。最后他轻松地说：“谢谢你，如果我们录用你会电话通知你，请帮我倒杯水来好吗？”

I walked to the water dispenser on the wall and took out two paper cups. I noticed an ordinary-looking old man sitting on a sofa in the corner, reading a newspaper. I thought that when giving the total manager a glass of water, it would be appropriate to also give one to him as well - after all, that was something a secretary should do.

I did as I thought and handed the filled cup first to the total manager, then brought another cup of water over to offer it to that old man and said: “Good day sir, please drink this.”

He looked up from his newspaper and smiled at me: “Thank you very much.”

Two days later, I received a call from the company informing me that they had decided to hire me as their secretary. They told me to report immediately for duty.

This news left me almost speechless; could it really be true that I would become one of twenty lucky interviewees? When I arrived at my new workplace with some trepidation and reported for duty before the chairman's office door opened wide before my eyes. Sitting behind his desk was none other than that unassuming old man who had been sitting quietly in one corner during my interview.

The last question during my interview turned out not just about providing water but also about showing respect for others around us. The person who gave too much attention only paid heed towards Total Manager while completely ignoring someone else present in room who is actually more important i.e., Company Chairman Mr Zhang Zhiwen (Zhang Zhiwen). So he ended up losing out due diligence because he didn't pay attention towards both people equally which led him down road less traveled by many others seeking similar position within organization known today globally named "Globotech". This path chosen wasn't easy however still managed stay focused on what mattered most - learning new skills every single day without ever stopping or losing faith believing dreams can come true if worked hard enough towards achieving them even under toughest conditions imaginable where failure seemed inevitable yet persisted pushing limits further ahead always striving forward never backing away no matter how difficult things got along way until finally succeeded reaching goal set forth long ago now celebrated triumphantly standing tall proud knowing exactly how far journey has taken since beginning stages early morning hours spent waiting nervously outside those doors hoping against hope getting chance prove self worth deserving opportunity given such high praise accolades bestowed upon by respected colleagues peers mentors alike across entire industry worldwide recognizing immense value added contributions made each step taken throughout process leading up momentous occasion marking completion successful tenure Globotech’s prestigious training program renowned among professionals working together diligently striving achieve excellence consistently demonstrating unwavering dedication commitment constant pursuit perfection ensuring continuous growth development personally professionally speaking terms success story inspiring countless aspiring individuals eager learn valuable lessons take home own unique experiences shaping futures endeavors embark upon future careers following footsteps remarkable men women making lasting impacts world through perseverance determination resilience courage never giving up fight continue push boundaries grow evolve constantly adapt change navigate challenging times remain steadfast strong-willed keep moving forward strive succeed reach top heights glory!
